Whim

The “MediaKnyga” Studio releases an audiobook by the well-known writer Asti Brams — “Whim”.
The work is narrated by the in-demand film actress and dubbing actress Ulyana Galich.

– Zakhar, what are you doing?! I’m your wife, what will people say?..
– A wife? — he sneered with contempt. — T-h-e-y — like a bone in the throat! Did you think you could spend your whole life hiding in your damn room and living off my money?! No, sweetheart, everything has a price. Get ready — he’s waiting for you!
– I’m not going anywhere, — I said firmly.
– You are going! Even if I have to drag you by the hair to his car, so stop whining! At least for something you’ll be useful.

Waking up at night and seeing my husband’s business partner by my bed, I decided I was imagining things. This gloomy man had always kept an icy distance from me, as if he couldn’t even stand my presence. But one day he offered my husband a deal he couldn’t refuse — and that very evening my life went completely off the rails.

Ulyana Galich’s credits include roles in Russia’s and the Soviet Union’s iconic films: “Tomorrow Was the War (1987)”, “Quiet Outpost (1985)”, “Zina-Zinulya (1986)”, “Summoned by Revolution”, “Red Cherry (1995)”, as well as dubbing dozens of films, including the bestsellers “Bridge of Spies (2015)”, “No. 44 (2014)” and many others.
