Doctor Ox's Experiment

In the city of Kikandon in western Flanders, a physiologist named Ochs arrives with his assistant. As he said, his goal was to illuminate the city completely with oxyhydric gas extracted from air. Only nobody knew whether that was true.

Soon strange things began happening in the peaceful city that went nowhere and took on the character of an “epidemic.”
