Description
Reflections of Bruce Lee assembled from his diaries and notes. More than 800 quotes touching over 70 themes: life and death, art and achievement, personal freedom and philosophy, will and ethics.

Bruce Lee (1940–1973) — an unrivaled master and popularizer of martial arts, choreographer of fight scenes, actor, and director.

Bruce was born into a family of actors. When Bruce was not even a year old, he appeared in his first film—playing an infant girl. Later, because Bruce was rather unremarkable and a weak child, he was cast mainly as a “difficult” teenager.

As a teenager, Lee begins taking Cha-Cha dance lessons and studying kung fu. In this he proves to be truly gifted: Bruce astonished his teacher by mastering the technique of tai chi quan in just three days. Later, Bruce studies boxing, jiu-jitsu, and judo. Based on what he learned, he develops his own style—jeet kune do. From that time until his death, Bruce perfected jeet kune do, constantly trained, and actively popularized martial arts.

In 1971 he receives the leading role in the film “The Big Boss,” which had stunning success. By then, Bruce Lee had time to act in 36 films.
