The Belkin Tales and The Queen of Spades

Five short tales by A. S. Pushkin—“The Shot,” “The Blizzard,” “The Undertaker,” “The Stationmaster,” and “The Young Lady-Peasant”—combined under the title “The Tales of Belkin,” as well as the tale “The Queen of Spades,” a remarkable example of Russian romantic prose from the early 19th century.
