In a large peasant family a deaf-mute boy is born. Surrounded by love, he grows up believing that the whole world revolves around him. They see him as an unselfish decoration of life, a funny little dudu… But when they lose him, it becomes clear that that dudu led blind people.
The parable-novella “The Blind Man Lost His Dudu” brought Grigorenko victory in the nomination “21st Century” and the main prize of the prestigious literary award “Yasnaya Polyana” (2016).
