The Last Tram

“Wait at the terminus stop. After midnight, when the last tram in the schedule leaves for the depot, another one will arrive. It’s not from our world. Get into the second car, backwards. On the way, your car will detach and keep going without the driver. Soon you’ll understand that you’re in another world. At one of the stops, a creature will get in and sit behind you. They call it the Conductor. They say that once he was a man, but now there’s nothing human left in him. Ask him for anything you want. But he will ask for something in return. The main thing is to follow the rules, otherwise the consequences will be irreversible.”

That’s what the legend says. And Grisha wants to bring a person back from that world. Will he manage to get what he wants?
