Frank Shatowski, who works as a driver in a small town, feels guilty about the breakup with his daughter, who moved to Boston. After three years of silence, he unexpectedly receives a call from Maggie inviting him to her wedding and asking him to escort her to the altar. Frank gladly takes the chance to rebuild their relationship, but before he leaves, he receives an anonymous letter with a photo showing Maggie’s fiancé—someone who works at her father’s firm—with another woman. The letter contains only one line: “Where is Don Taggart?” Frank goes to his daughter, but the more he learns, the more he doubts the correctness of her choice of partner, fearing she might make a mistake.
