Flight to Immortality

Martin is a talented engineer. He works at the successful company “Shield” and designs space equipment. One day, he is offered a chance to join an interstellar expedition to find out why communication has been lost with the ship “Eryum,” on which the young man had worked. The rescuers are in for an unexpected surprise. The entire crew of the “Eryum,” which was drifting above the orbit of a distant planet, has mysteriously vanished—leaving only one child, but... something is clearly wrong with him! Joining the team of the rescue shuttle, Martin expected he would have to fix a malfunction on the “silent” spacecraft, but in the end he was forced to make contact with an alien civilization and prevent a terrible catastrophe that was supposed to unfold already on Earth. And he himself has to face an important life-and-philosophical choice...
