Half a Life

From provincial India, fate sends Villy Chandran to the imperial center—London, and then back to the province, but now African. Different continents, different ways of life, different civilizations—and only one chance, given just once, to live your own single real life. Will it be full, accomplished, successful? And is everything good in this “best of all possible worlds”? Telling about ordinary people in everyday situations, the writer together with his hero looks for the answer to the question that sooner or later faces everyone: “Am I living my life?”
