Otto Weininger (1880–1903) was a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Vienna, who became known as the author of the book “Sex and Character,” which gained mass popularity in the early 20th century after his suicide. The book was written from the standpoint of natural philosophy and presented a sweeping study of the “male” and “female” principles.
