Maigret's Rival

In the story “Madame Maigret’s Fan,” the commissioner’s wife is named Henrietta, and in “Maigret’s Memoirs” she is Louise.
She’s a housewife who loves cooking very much. Later, even a cookbook was published: R. Kurtin’s “Recipes of Madame Maigret” (Madame Maigret’s Recipes Robert J. Courtine), which gathers recipes of dishes mentioned in George Simenon’s novels. However, besides her culinary talents, Madame Maigret also showed detective skills.
