An Almost Gothic Murder

In the “Agency for Information Services,” a strange man comes for help. Dressed like a circus performer, he calls himself the heir of an ancient Scottish family that is being hunted. Larisa and Renat would have taken his visit as a prank, but the next day they find the corpse of this unusual visitor right in their own office. In the dead man’s hand is an invitation to a ball in an old castle of Glamis. A mandatory condition for participants is masquerade costumes. What will happen to the detectives when they are forced to disguise themselves as the White Lady and the Earl Byerdi? And how will they recognize the terrifying rival hidden behind a guest’s mask at the ball?
