Conquerors of the Deep

Grigory Borisovich Adamov (1886–1945) is a well-known Soviet science-fiction writer. In the novel “Winners of the Depths,” a scientific expedition into the depths of the Earth is described, whose goal is to put into service a new inexhaustible source of energy—underground heat. The novel stands out for the engaging plot, popularizes the achievements of domestic science and technology of that time.
