Gorin throws everything away and moves to another city to write a novel. He writes about his school years, when his personality was forged in a cauldron of fears, insecurity, first love, and street fights. But the move gives him more than just the chance to write a book. In his apartment there is an exit to the roof, offering a beautiful view of the city. A similar exit to the roof is found in the apartment of the artist living in the neighboring building entrance.
The artist’s friends are musicians who often come over to his place. And the lead singer—someone who looks like the girl of his dreams—turns out to be there too.
