In a story where there’s a real Gorynych, there simply cannot be an Ivan the Tsarevich. Besides, it’ll become clear quite quickly that the Gorynych here isn’t real at all—just a petty thug. But the Tsarevich Ivan rides around on a “Lamborghini” instead of the stove: he’s as pure-bred as they come—despite the fact that his name is Anton, and in his student record book he has something that doesn’t quite qualify him to marry the wise Vasylisa.
