A young, unknown boxer, Pat Glendon, ends up with Sam Stubner—a boxing manager. The kid is very ambitious and, without a doubt, has every chance to become world champion in the heavyweight division. He defeats all his opponents almost at once, with a single blow. But professional sport isn’t only about medals and the crowd’s admiration. And it seems that Glendon is about to learn about another, not-so-pleasant, backstage side of the sport.
