Windswept Plateau is a place where blood may be spilled. Windswept Plateau is an empty settlement in the mountains where Lapis Lazuli is mined—the stone of longevity. Windswept Plateau is the last refuge from a snowstorm for two strangers: Omar, a miner and trader from the Old Earth, and Chi Yonga gifted scholar who barely survived an accident.
