The Planet

Grishkovets’ audio play “Planet” is, in a sense, a story about life and love. “Planet” differs from other performances by Evgeny Grishkovets in that, just like on a planet, there is no end—so an involuntary question arises in the audience’s minds: “And what comes next?” Evgeny Grishkovets remains himself here as well: he still doesn’t reveal the secret of the performance “Planet.” “Planet” once again confirmed that Evgeny Grishkovets can speak from the stage with astonishing ease about the most important philosophical matters—and even put scientific knowledge in service of the theater. Nobody else can do that, absolutely not. And it’s understandable: Grishkovets appeared in our theater like “an unlawful comet among the calculated stars,” and he has his own orbits.
