Letters to Milena

Kafka fell in love with the Czech journalist Milena Jesenská, and their relationship became the brightest event of his life. Their romance was short, but they kept corresponding by mail for several years. Kafka sent Milena his diaries and wrote “Letter to His Father,” which later became well known.
