The Song of the Lord's Handmaid

“Song of the Lord’s Personal Maid” is a novel by Alex Knight in the genres of romantic and adventurous fantasy.

I am the last of the illiemi. My people have been erased from the face of the earth, and my fate is shattered. The only thing I have left is the craft of a thief. But my loud reputation played against me: now I will have to return to my homeland, to the place where the pain of the past is still alive. I must secure a position as a servant in the palace, where once I might have sat on the throne. For my goal, I’m ready for a great deal—even to become the Lord’s personal maid, the ruler of the harmonters. A man whom we are bound to only by mutual hatred. But when feelings come into play, cold calculation stops working.
