Twenty years ago, English archaeologist and millionaire Reginald Kensington disappeared without a trace in the legendary city of Ubar, lost in the Arabian desert. After a mysterious explosion in a gallery founded by Kensington where treasures from Ubar were kept, scientists discover inside a stone statue that was split by the blast a strange metal piece—an exact copy of a human heart. The archaeologist’s daughter equips a scientific expedition in order to penetrate the secrets kept by the desert. But this explosion draws attention not only from scientists, but also from an international criminal group seeking to seize some mysterious power hidden somewhere in Ubar’s underground dungeons.
