The First-Grader

This is the story of little Marusya, who goes to school for the first time and discovers such a fun and unusual world where thinking and behaving are required in a completely “grown-up” way. Now Marusya is no longer a carefree preschooler, but a real schoolgirl. She learns that in the school world, besides diligence and independence, people also value true friendship and responsibility for their actions. Although in modern schools they don’t wear brown uniforms anymore and they haven’t written with fountain pens for a long time, the worries, cares, and adventures of a small first-grader will appeal to young readers. And grandparents with sad smiles will remember their childhood and the wonderful film “First Grader,” which has helped grow more than one generation of younger students.
