Timofey Gradsky, the main hero, is an orphan. He comes from a lost station in deep space, nicknamed “Misfortune.” There isn’t much work on the station; the lives of its inhabitants are boring and monotonous; the leadership is mired in corruption and has merged with the local criminal world. That’s why Tim makes a dangerous choice. He becomes a goss—head hunter, someone who has the right to punish criminals wanted by the authorities on the spot and receive solid reward for it.

But this choice leads to the fact that he and his only friend, the AI “Leo,” are forced to leave the station in a hurry, ending up in open space aboard a hastily assembled ship.

The heroes don’t get lost in space, and Timofey continues his goss hunt, leveling up his abilities. Ahead is the station “Peaceful Nebula,” where he can get new orders involving death-row criminals and build useful connections. The main thing is not to panic and to do everything with calculation. And that’s always helped by “Leo.”
