The Kid

Because of a catastrophe, the air became saturated with an unknown substance that—like a deadly scythe—emptied much of life without affecting anything else. But the survivors, who managed to adapt, discovered incredible abilities that could compete with the achievements of modern science. And since almost every survivor received these skills, the planet has been shaking from powerful changes for a long time: whole countries disappeared, new ones appeared, and society persistently sought the desired balance—trying to return to the lost calm. Fortunately, surviving technologies allowed people to rapidly restore the previous standard of living.

And it is in these conditions that, decades later, begins the story of a small boy—a kid—who was supposed to become a banal instrument of revenge… But the world is always just a little more complicated, isn’t it?
