Panorama

In an anti-utopian future in France, people live in glass houses that allow constant surveillance of each other. In this society, where the law of Openness has practically eradicated crime, a mysterious disappearance of a family of three occurs in one of these transparent houses. Ex-police officer Hélène Dubern begins an investigation, sensing a hidden threat in this seemingly perfect world. Lili Asen, a young writer, published this gripping novel in 2023—“Panorama”—which received critical acclaim and won several prestigious awards, including the Visionaries and the François Mauriac Prize.
