Welcome to one of the oldest worlds of Tauris. For a long time, people who were deprived of the ability to cast spells lived here in harmony and friendship with the sorcerers. But the balance was broken. The sorcerers decided they were better than everyone else. Under the guise of a "school of sorcery," on one of the islands an experimental research base was set up, where experiments began on people and on the so-called "non-mages." That’s where a girl named Violetta ended up. An artifact was used on her that moved her back several decades—to a concentration camp of World War II.

Forgetting herself and her past, she tries to adapt to her new life, helps other children, and waits for "our people" to come. A chance meeting with a boy, Grisha, who is also a guest from the future and has already seen enough inhuman horrors here, gives Violetta strength to fight—her chance to return home, find herself, and challenge the villains. But that chance is only a ghost.

Memories don’t rush back, and truth isn’t ready to open itself. Enemies are everywhere. The present is terrifying, and the future is unpredictable.
