The works of the science-fiction writer and popularizer of science Sergey Alexandrovich Snegov were understood and accepted only gradually. His first novel “People Like Gods” was rejected by no fewer than four publishing houses in a row, because in the future society he created in his work there was an obvious lack of communist ideology. And yet it was precisely this novel—later translated into eight languages—that brought the writer worldwide fame.
