The heroes of Anna Pavlova wander through the labyrinths of illusions, emotional torment, and traumas. They color reality with fanciful fantasies, fight childish resentments, personal demons, and their own and others’ dark sides. Psychiatrist Gera Grankin helps them find their way toward the light—someone who realizes that his own life is full of fears, doubts, and unrealized desires too. Communicating with patients, Grankin learns to understand and accept himself, but his path is not easy either.
