A southern island welcomed thirteen tourists from Russia to celebrate the New Year. It prepared its beaches and bungalows, polished the furniture until it shone, and cleared the pool water. But these Russians are unpredictable people: you can expect anything from them, and you can never guess how their celebration will end. The poor island couldn’t even dream in a nightmare just how many strange—and at the same time terrible—events would happen there over these three days. How much shy truth will be dragged into the open, and how shattered hopes will explode into the air like fireworks. And the strangest thing is that the culprit of it all was simply a BOOK.
