The Island of Love and Freedom

Born on June 1, 1956, in the city of Kirov (Vyatka). He graduated from the Philological Faculty of Gorky University and the Higher Literary Courses at the Maxim Gorky Literary Institute in Moscow. He worked at various publishing houses, taught, and served as editor-in-chief of the magazine “Nizhny Novgorod.” At the Maxim Gorky Literary Institute, he led a prose seminar in the Higher Literary Courses. Member of the Union of Writers of Russia. Lives in Moscow.
