American writer Wallace Stegner (1909–1993) is the author of many books, including 13 novels and several short-story collections, a recipient of various awards—including the Pulitzer Prize. “Keeping It for Me” (1987) is his last novel. This is the story of a long and difficult friendship between two married couples—the Langs and the Morgans.
