Description
Against the backdrop of island scenery and the steady life of the Makar family, a teenage girl appears. She keeps track of time by Sundays, but she’s completely lost in this strange adult world of half-truths, and it seems she’s needed by no one. The only close person has left—her best friend sent her into ban; her mother is busy with her own life; and she hasn’t even met her father yet.

She wants to be liked.

She wants to hide.

She tries not to be like everyone else. She plays.

The interlinking characters and the place where events unfold connect the author’s third book with the previous two—“The Blue” and “Just a Little Rain.” The story continues. Was buying a dream house by the bluest sea a mistake? Who looks into the windows at night? What will happen when Zephyr arrives? Can adults change? What will Sophie be like on the last Sunday of summer?
