Ray Kerring er is called a hunter of fairies. She returns kidnapped children home, can track beings from the Other Side, and knows the way to hollow hills through the Border fog. On the Other Side, there are their own rules: the sun can’t be seen, the compass lies, time moves however it pleases, roads can twist into a ring, and in the air you can hear the echo of the horns of the Wild Hunt. The Other Side is made of forgotten fairy tales—stories that can come alive and take the most precious thing away.
