Gelward Mann from the Guild of Spies returns to places abandoned by the City and makes an astonishing discovery…
From the author
Certain situations described in this novel were found in a short story of the same name, first published in issue 22 of the anthology “New in Science Fiction” (Sidgwick & Jackson). However, apart from a somewhat similar background on which the action takes place, and the names of two or three characters, in essence there is almost nothing in common between the novel and the story.
