Description

Aleksey Shanin is a Seer and an employee of the “Eye of the Tsar.” He is the only one in Novograd capable of distinguishing magical spells and otherworldly beings, and also of protecting ordinary townspeople from them. For more than ten years Shanin worked alone and reliably handled his duties—but the руководство decided to assign him a partner at precisely the time when inexplicable and frightening events began to happen in the city.

The problem is that the new assistant isn’t an experienced Seer—he’s only a student who has just finished the third year of the academy. Now Shanin must both figure out what’s behind the strange happenings in Novograd and train the trainee right on missions. Otherwise, real Seers aren’t made that way.
