Hunters of Dimension-Travelers

“Hunters of the Popadants” is a science-fiction novel by Igor Osipov, genre: urban fantasy, steampunk, and popadants.

Popadants. Stray ones between worlds. Often they die in the thousands from hunger, cold, and disease—from the fangs of predators, on the bonfires of savages, and in slavery to bloodthirsty pirates. And along with them, priceless knowledge, artifacts, and devices are lost. But there is a world that is one century behind ours. It’s similar to ours, only slightly different—and there they realize the value of such arrivals, and teams are created with the goal of capturing unwilling travelers across the edge of worlds. But not all popadants are peaceful, and some of them bring with them enormous, enormous trouble. Those arrivals will have to stand against one of the county squads of hunters for popadants.
