New Year’s Eve. Everyone decorates Christmas trees, watches kind movies, and prepares gifts. Everyone—except Zhenya, who had to sit with her aunt’s dog in her aunt’s cottage while she was on vacation.
It might have been boring: talkative neighbors in the village, no snow, and dog walks. But someone broke into her house one night, and her aunt somehow returned from vacation early.
Of course, Zhenya tried to leave for home to her usual life—but it didn’t work, because a murder happened. Now she has to figure out what happened, learn a lot about her aunt and her neighbors’ secrets, understand why a suspicious man from the house across the street is trying to help her, and never forget to walk the dog twice a day.
And New Year’s is coming soon…
