Alone Among the Tigers

In the summer of 1943, the Germans tried to break through our defenses near Kursk, but the Red Army stood like a wall. A group of fascist tanks still managed to punch through the defensive line and attack the headquarters and supply trains. To eliminate the breakthrough, a tank detachment is urgently formed under the command of Lieutenant Aleksei Sokolov. He’s an experienced tanker who understands that you can’t attack the enemy with large forces: the Germans will spot the movement and pull out of the line of fire. They must act covertly, from an ambush. At first, Sokolov’s plan works—he destroys German tanks one after another. But suddenly the situation changes unexpectedly.
