The Rite

There are prohibitions that you can’t cross. Rituals you can’t touch. And darkness that you can’t wake up. A trip to a student initiation ceremony in a forgotten village turns, for five friends, into a contract with the dark. Lured by promises of unusual power, they decide to perform a bloody ritual, hoping to take control of the shadows. But instead of controlling the darkness, they become its prey—awakening an ancient evil.

Soon their own shadows turn into merciless killers, and the mysterious demon begins counting down—five nights until the end. Any attempt to escape only tightens the noose: here every clue leads to a dead end, and every possible helper turns out to be a pawn of darkness. To survive, they’ll have to face the most terrible enemy of all— their own reflection.
