The World of Dusk is vast. Here live werewolves—five great clans united into a single state. Ordinary people dwell in villages and cities. Once they had their own kingdom, but now they are under the rule of the Changeling. The warlike people of the Moon are at odds with the werewolves and keep their secrets.
At the beginning of the story, three main heroes set out on a journey in search of a magical artifact: Panter—a werewolf, heir of the Clan of the Wild Cats; Ren—a boy from the village beyond the Grey Forest; and the Ghost. They seek miraculous roses that are capable of opening parallel worlds. They will face difficulties and dangers: encounters with Lilac Giants, clashes with robbers, and cunning traps. But the heroes must achieve their goal, because their world stands on the brink of war, into which all peoples are being pulled. Will their search succeed, and what unexpected discoveries await them at the end of their journey?
