Description
Year 2022. Iraq. For the second month, Mansur Bulut, a twenty-year-old illegal intelligence operative, has been in Iraqi Kurdistan at an RPK Kurd base, where he is completing his first assignment received from the Center. Mansur was born in Turkey to Dilaar, a Kurd, and to the then very young Pyotr Goryunov, with whom he had an unauthorized affair. After the failure of Goryunov, thirteen-year-old Mansur had to be secretly taken out of the country to Russia. The special unit where Goryunov had worked for many years became immediately interested in the teenager—someone who speaks not only Kurmanji and Turkish, Arabic, and English, but also French, which he learned under his father’s persistent insistence. Despite all Goryunov’s objections—he didn’t want his son to follow in his footsteps—Mansur begins training for work in the Directorate of Illegal Intelligence of Russia’s SVR.

And after successful training, Russian officer Mansur Bulut operates among the Kurds, while Russia’s FSB counterintelligence carries out no less intense work in Moscow, trying to find and stop the activity of a CIA agent. ?. Degtyareva ©&℀обьев V.A.©&??
