It’s hard to build a business on producing and selling valuable fur, but it’s even harder to keep it at a competitive level—especially when you can’t trust even your closest people. On an abandoned construction site near Athens, they find the body of a woman brutally murdered. The police discover she is a Russian citizen. Meanwhile, a school friend—now working at a fur manufacturing factory—turns to the famous Greek lawyer for help. He asks to find a Russian businesswoman who for a long time bought large batches of expensive fur products for sale. It turns out the Russian woman has disappeared without paying her debts. This is the first book in a series of investigations led by investigator Sergey Shaposhnikov.
