Description
Once every few decades, when the night of Halloween coincides with a full moon, the fabric of reality grows thin and the gates between this world and the realm of the Great Ancient Ones can be opened. The process of opening these gates is the Game. Two sides participate in it: the Openers (those who strive for the exiled Ancient Ones to return to our world) and the Closers (those who oppose the return of the Ancient Ones). Over a month, both sides prepare for the decisive day of opening the gates, gathering various ingredients for potions and building up power. A considerable part of the ingredients has to be searched for in cemeteries. On the pages of the novel, the reader will meet Dr. Frankenstein and his monster, Jack the Ripper and Sherlock Holmes—along with many other famous characters from world literature.
