A very interesting work by Mikhail Kucherov, completely unlike several other brilliant radio plays—and this uniqueness always amazes. It already seems that there have been so many film adaptations, stage productions, and performances, and there will be more, while directors keep inventing something new and new. And absolutely without detracting from Gogol.
