Alexandra Nikitichna Annen’nskaya (1840–1915) was a teacher and a well-known children’s writer of the 19th century and early 20th century; she was the sister of P. N. Tkachev and the wife of N. F. Annen’sky. The edition includes an excellent, famous work by Alexandra Annen’skaya: “Biographical Sketch of A. N. Annen’skaya. Gogol.
