So why did we come to the monastery and with all our souls want to stay here forever? Because each of us was revealed to a wonderful, incomparable world. And this world turned out to be infinitely more alluring than the one in which we had spent those brief and, in its own way, very happy years.
This book is about that beautiful world, where people live by completely different laws than in ordinary life—endlessly bright, full of love and joyful discoveries, full of hope and happiness, trials, victories, and finding meaning in defeats—and most of all, about the mighty manifestations of God’s power and help that I want to tell you about.
