Here is the neonik Jay and his sister Phoebe. Jay is ten—he goes to a magical school; Phoebe is twelve—she also goes to school and dreams of becoming a muse! Jay and Phoebe are excited because they are looking for the magical little fox Naruke. Jay enchanted Naruke so that he’d have someone to play with. She’s small, white, and very lovely. When Naruke is happy, a lilac glow runs across her fur. To create her, Jay needed willpower, several magic balls, and a lot of courage!

Jay was so happy that it worked! His long-awaited dream came true—he got an intelligent, kind, and brave friend. At school, Jay couldn’t resist and showed Naruke to his friend Beke…
