On the eve of New Year’s holidays, Oleg arrives in his hometown as an inspector. His job is to check how things are going at the Regional Hospital. But what seemed like routine work turns into a real nightmare. A new strain of virus rages in the hospital, and later it breaks out beyond its walls. Oleg ends up trapped in a city he had once voluntarily forgotten, and—besides the urgent problems—he is burdened by the heavy weight of the past. Childhood memories and former troubles immediately clash with his new way of life and thinking. Only old friends and a rethinking of long-obvious truths can save the situation.
