Silent Dummies

Want to be afraid of silence? Then this is for you.

Every twenty years, reality cracks.

From a parallel universe, THEY crawl out.

Without sound. Without breath. Without mercy.

They are called “Silent Dummies.”

They take those who have seen too much.

And you’re already staring at the cover.

Too late to close the book.

A new release from Vlad Raiber—master of mystical and terrifying stories for teenagers and a finalist of the “Eksmo.Debut” prize. His stories are familiar to thousands, and his books are read aloud on popular YouTube channels, racking up millions of views!

For everyone who loves Tinny Bunny, FNAF, and horror!

Unexpected twists and creepy creatures, a subtle interweaving of mysticism and everyday horror. A book-artifact with an unusual design in the form of a notebook-diary: underlines, author’s comments in the margins, notes. Also inside is a colorful fold-out endpaper with terrifying characters.

Every twenty years, horrifying creatures invade our reality from a parallel universe. They don’t make a sound—so they’re called Silent Dummies. They creep through shadows and take away those who managed to notice too much.

Three eras: the eighties, the beginning of the new century, and today. But the point on the map is always the same—a small, cozy town where reality cracks at exactly the moment people least expect it. The locals are used to a steady way of life, but every two decades something happens here that makes the concrete tremble, and silence becomes more dangerous than a scream.

Someone must stand up to defend the world before it’s finally broken.

Timur is an ordinary first-year student who never aspired to heroics. But a chance meeting with a pink-haired huntress changes everything. Together, he’s ready to face any invader—even if it means risking his own life.

A frightening story about monsters hiding among us—and about first feelings that sweep over you just as unexpectedly and relentlessly as the invasion itself.

A true gift for everyone who liked Vlad Raiber’s books, such as: “The Otherworldly City,” “The Cat’s Mask,” “Crying Monster,” as well as the novel “Bunny.” A story for everyone who loves creepypastas, urban legends, folkloric horror, and scary tales in the spirit of “Behind the Scenes,” SCP, and “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” Every fan of terrifying stories will love the book! Sealed endpapers with characters and descriptions of monsters, and atmospheric layout inside! Give it for Halloween, a birthday, or New Year’s— or just to make a Friday evening truly terrifying!

A unique authorial world with various locations, heroes, and horrifying creatures. An unusual concept of a notebook-diary: the reader becomes part of a strange mystical reality. Inside, there’s a colorful fold-out endpaper with all the characters and facts about them. And the text is complemented by margin notes, author’s notes, and black-and-white illustrations!
