“The German” is written in the genre of “historical action.” I’ve always been interested in dynamic, tangled plots. In my book, I wove such a plot into a special historical-mystical backdrop. The premise is briefly this: Anton volunteered to help a German tourist find traces of his uncle, who disappeared in Russia during the Great Patriotic War. Anton didn’t expect things to turn out like this.
